As the title says, how do I add cheats to GBA games on the SC slot2 cards? I NEVER did it before and I need a crash course on the method for doing it.

Mainly, it's for my nephew.....he wants to know. His PC time is very limited (strict parents) and he wants to cheat in some of the games.

Our supercard miniSD's are running firmware 1.70 as we don't use them for DS stuff, only GBA games and homebrew, so I never upgraded them past that. Just thought I'd mention that.....

Where do I get the cheats for GBA games on a Supercard?

How do I add them to the game?

How do I use/set them?

Like I said, I never tried it before, so I'm a n00b on this subject.

All help appreciated.

If people knew, they would probably post. No need to get angry.

To be honest I have no clue how to add custom GBA cheats. I know the entire process for DS cheats, but obviously it doesn't work on the GBA side.

Actualy if you use the super card software... (for the sd version anyway)

And a btw it does not take AR Cheats it uses .cht a "raw" format

When you load a rom

Right Click it and select property's
Click the Enable Cheat Box
Browse to the software's pre made cheat files
"C:/SC/Cheat"

Load the cheats then flash the rom

And when you start the game press L+R+A+Start

And it should pop up a cheat menu

Converting codes to GBA binary...
32004E30 00E7 -> write $E7 to $02004E30
32004E31 0003 -> write $03 to $02004E31
Searching IRQ handlers...
FATAL ERROR: Sorry, but no IRQ handlers found.
Error while creating patch...

Yea, thats another downside. For the codes to work, they need to be hooked into a common handler in the GBA game which most games have except for a rare few.

Yes, that location is a group of thousands of cheats that you can not even begin to search for Pokemon Fire Red, but on top of that, they're in a format of cheats that I have no idea how to change. Please, tell me how to add cheats into Fire Red. Thanks.
