I don't have a choice, even though I'd go to launch if I wasn't working it.
should be funny though, I've got red hats and moustaches for all of our staff.
shame there's no mario game on launch. it'd be funnier

advantage: even though we won't need to line up, I woudln't have to anyway.

Preordered mine, no lining up for me. Wouldn't have the time. I'm still getting it on the Euro launch date, just in the afternoon. Your poll seems to be missing an option I can click. [IMG]

I preordered mine months ahead and was able to pick it up 2 hours before the official release. I don`t think that would count as "After launch day - in store."

I ordered mine off ebay a couple weeks ago. I purchased a Wii that included a $40 512 memory card and a game. Nobody wanted to pay the extra money for the crappy memory card so I ended up spending only $15 over retail. Then I returned the memory card and game to Best Buy and bought a different game.

What's funny is the guy who I purchased it from was one of the jerks who tried to jack up the price on ebay to make a quick buck, and he would have made $15 bucks off of me if he hadn't miscalculated the shipping cost. So the seller actually ended up $20 bucks in the hole and I walked away with just the Wii and spending only $15 over retail. It was 5% skill and 95% luck.

October 23rd...waited at 5am in front of EBGames to preorder. Got the very last preorder. Walked in on launch day and picked it up with everything I wanted. Happiest day this year.

launch night, 20 degrees/snow on the ground, best buy line was massive (no fucking way they had that many systems). Zero line at Circuit City down the street, we all waited in our cars till 6am, everyone got in line outside for only 2 hours till they handed out vouchers, and they even had 2 vouchers left.
