I agree, Maxconsole is awful...
In regard to the touch screen however, it's just sensible. Touch screen is a fantastic idea and mixed with the PSP's superior processing power we might start to see some good games...

dunno saw that ten years ago. or maybe 1 or 2 years ago. they were random concept pics of it made by homebrew developers. And article ssaid that this can be compatible with custom firmwares etc. but it never came reality. Maybe this will. heh

First thing in most product design projects is a market survey (what is there, how much does it see and why). Second is how do I rip it off?

Still I really like the touch screen (to the point that I am disappointed when I have to enter a name "the old fashioned way" or worse the arcade way.

I bet it's purely for homebrew.
Actually as the name suggests, Nintendo Dual Screen is more about two screens than touch screen.
Touch screen can potentially improve horrible PSP inputs by a lot. I am so tired of entering letters using cellphone-like input mode.

I have both PSP and DS, and trying to add touch screen to PSP is totally understandable, I don't want another DS, I just want to stop getting frustrated by PSP inputs.

While I personally don't have a PSP myself, but I play it at my friends house sometimes, and it feels reeeally fragile around the screen, I think that if you're not careful with that thing you'll crack the screen or something.

Well.. as far as I'm concerned that's not supported by Sony, so it's useless.. will be used just for homebrew.
