Hacking How come some pal wads refuse to work even if my wii is starfalled?

I made my console region free via starfall but it's not working that great, Balloon fight pal still doesn't work, even if friithewii.

have you tried freethewads?? sometimes it will work, sometimes not.

What ios that game uses?

There are some games that need ios 37, they just return to menu on boot... installing ios 37 fixes those...

Maybe you lack a certain ios... the one that game uses...

ps: by the way if you are already getting "this channel can't be used" message or freezes after launching the game it may well still be a region problem...

can't tell which ios it uses, but I've encountered two errors with it.

Region locked console + Freethewad'd channel to ntsc = once no banner and then locks up on boot

Region free wii (starfall) + PAL channel = Banner and all but freezes

Region Free wii + freethewad'd wad = banner and error message...

Some games just don't work even region free'd.

An example is the Defend Your Castle WAD I installed long while ago. Figured that it wouldnt work even with freethewads.

Get the NTSC wad.
