Hardware How come Gameboy Micros are so rare and wanted so much?

I think a lot of people are seeking them out because of the low production run.

The limited edition versions command a pretty good price.

I love the small form factor of the GBMs but I play most games on SP AGS-101s.

Wow you got lucky. I have one too, it's fine for the very small portability of it. Kind of an old topic to wake back up, but given how few of them were made, and how much harder it is to find a non screwed up faceplate for the things it's no wonder why they cost so much. I have a pile of spare parts for mine I keep such as 3 spare OEM batteries, extra screen, full set of buttons, and some ok grade face plates. I like how it fits into the teeny front pocket jeans get on the right.

I was lucky to get a new boxed blue one for cheap two years ago. It had one dead pixel but oh well still worth it.

I need to find a link cable for the thing.
