Question How close are we to reliable N64 Emulation? (Preferably not on Linux)

I've been seeing a bunch of neat looking romhacks, and I would like to play them on the go.

I know there is a retroarch on the regular Switch OS, but last I checked it didn't have all the graphics drivers decrypted or something so it could only handle up to 16-bit games before massive slowdown.

    Has this changed?

Hardware accelleration kinda works on Horizon now. Maybe some hardware intensive emulators will get released.
