How can you play FPS's on controller?

I never get used to play FPS games using a gamepad/controller it just doesn't feel "natural". The aiming using an analog joystick is not confortable nor instinctive, and even less precise...
I'm still playing and enjoying FPS sessions on a computer with a keyboard and mouse combination, as it should be.

100% both Golden Eye and Perfect Dark on the N64 not to mention a pretty good Doom Eternal run on a ps4. You get used to it, specially if you've been playing shooters since the N64 days
