I'm in America and I was pleasantly surprised/disappointed to hear that they already released BD in English, which I've waited over a year for, but in ENGLAND or EU and not AMERICA! Seriously wtf it's sposed to go Japs, NA, EU, that's always how it's been! lol. So I've ordered games off of the JP PSN store and even played JP only online PSP games like Grand Knights History using Japanese Proxy Servers, so I imagine there's someway to get into the EU E-Shop right? Youtube doesn't have anything when I go to look at videos so I thought I'd ask you edumecated colleagues of mine! =D There's gotta be a way to do this right?
3DS is region locked, that's why you can't play European games.

Sadly this isn't Sony we're talking about here, it's Nintendo. They're good at making sure that stuff can't happen that can happen on other company game systems
how do you find out what FW you're using? Can't find it in settings. I tried changing my location to british virgin islands or something maybe I can complain that I can't get my EU crap for a British territory lol

It's impossible unless you have a Japanese or European 3DS.
It's maybe possible with the gateway flashcard but I've not read up on how the gateway works but there should be a ton of info in the 3ds hacking thread.

Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.+1

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
