Hacking How can I turn off Game Updates?

Hi,

My wii is hardmodded, but recently I installed USB Loader GX 1.0 in order to run games from a USB drive. Everything is working great, but I know that I don't want to perform the updates that certain games require to play them on the main screen. I know that in some softmods there is an option to turn off game updates. Is there something I can install that will turn off the required game updates? I thought about softmodding it, but I'm not sure if that will conflict with USB Loader and the files that I had to patch in order to get USB Loader working properly. Thanks for your time and help.

games ask for updates in usb loader???? i thought the loader disabled that.. i am also running startpatch 4.1 with no disc update.

just remove the update from the iso before you burn them.
there are many tools around to do that.
