ROM Hack How can I migrate from Pokemon Emerald to my Patched(by Rykin)Pokemon

Sorry the title is not complete.I really mean how to migrate from emerald to platinum( i am using Rykin's English patch).








How can I do that?, Ive inserted my emerald to my nds' GBA SLOT but the option "Migrate from Emerald" doesn't appear.Im using an ORIGINAL POKEMON EMERALD GAME PAK (that is in English).

It doesn't work, i have tried it also with an unpatched version of Pokemon Platinum. It seems that youll have to wait for the (U) release

Ive seen a video on youtube that features a person migrating from a certain GBA Pokemon Game to his English Patched Platinum,he said that he hex edited the rom to be compatible with english GBA Gamepaks:

The migration only works between carts of the same region. You are trying to migrate from a US cart to a Japanese game, unless you hack one of the roms, like the guy in the video did.
