Homebrew how can i make my r4 auto boot to a .nds file

Please define better "R4", there are hundreds of different cards with those characters in the name...

Assuming you're talking about the original R4, you must name the .nds with the correct name for your kernel (original 1.18, Wood, or YSmenu?)
Or you can make it tha actual kernel by converting it to _ds_menu.dat with "r4crypt"

I should also mention I own a Gateway 3DS Blue Card and an R4 SDHC Dual Core 2015, so I could do it on one of those (I've got others but they don't work on the latest 3DS firmware.

how would you accomplish that with r4crypt?
