You need to find the games online and download them to your sd card. from there you need to use fbi to install the file.Well I downloaded a lot of games on my old 3ds (which is broken now) using the freeshop , now I have a new console and I want to play this games again. I have a backup from the SD card of the other 3ds so maybe there's some hope?
And yes I have cfw on version 11.9
You would need to use something like jksm or checkpoint to decrypt the save and transfer it over. then inject the save to the new copy of the game ya got.And what happens with the savefiles?
Checkpoint requires booting into the 3DS's main OS, but you should be able to grab the movable.sed from that console in the sysnand virtual drive in GM9. You can then use fuse-3ds to decrypt the SD card's contents, or if you don't care about anything on the new system you should be able to inject the old movable.sed onto the new console (make a sysnand backup first)I can use godmode but that's it
Would it work with the sys nand backup?Checkpoint requires booting into the 3DS's main OS, but you should be able to grab the movable.sed from that console in the sysnand virtual drive in GM9. No, I meant you can decrypt your stuff with the old movable.sed and reencrypt it with your new console's or you can just replace the new movable with the old one (but I know someone who almost bricked their 3DS trying that, and they didn't have a sysnand backup, so it's highly recommended you make one)Would it work with the sys nand backup?
Is there another way to get the .sed? No, I meant you can decrypt your stuff with the old movable.sed and reencrypt it with your new console's or you can just replace the new movable with the old one (but I know someone who almost bricked their 3DS trying that, and they didn't have a sysnand backup, so it's highly recommended you make one)
Other than getting it from sysnand virtual in gm9, I think it's in the essential.exefs (or something like that) that GM9 has you create the first time you use it. Just put it on your new console's SD card, open it in GM9 (press A over it), and grab the movable.sed from there. Is there another way to get the .sed?
Ok I'll try that, thanks for helping me out and sorry for all the questionsOther than getting it from sysnand virtual in gm9, I think it's in the essential.exefs (or something like that) that GM9 has you create the first time you use it. You can also just open essential.exefs directly in fuse-3DS and get movable.sed that way. Same goes for nand backups.Other than getting it from sysnand virtual in gm9, I think it's in the essential.exefs (or something like that) that GM9 has you create the first time you use it. So I get the essentials.exefs when you open godmode9 for the first time? You can also just open essential.exefs directly in fuse-3DS and get movable.sed that way. Same goes for nand backups.
It's also possible to generate the movable.sed for one 3DS if its friend code is in another 3DS.
It asks you if you want to make it, you have to press A to actually make it.So I get the essentials.exefs when you open godmode9 for the first time?
Where do I put the essentials.exefs? It asks you if you want to make it, you have to press A to actually make it.
When you press A to create it, it goes to SD:/gm9/out iirc but if you're dumping it from sysnand virtual anywhere is fineWhere do I put the essentials.exefs?
I got from sysand virtual on the old 3ds, copy and pasted it on the SD card would this work? When you press A to create it, it goes to SD:/gm9/out iirc but if you're dumping it from sysnand virtual anywhere is fine
