if you don't know how to obtain OTP.bin then you did not read the A9LH tut, so STOP think about what your doing, make sure you have NAND backups, also remeber to downgrade to 2.1 make sure you patch the 2.1 NAND with 2.1FWPatch option in OTP Helper.

I'm sorry if this sounds stupid but, is the term rednand another name for system nand or emunand?

Rednand is a different implementation of what emunand is, but I don't know exavtly the difference about them.

I looked at the damn wiki guide... I'm not a professional on homebrew... I just needed a conformation that I'm not bricking my freaking console...

Do you not understand what spoonfeeding him with something so simple like this will do? Literally all he had to do was look on the right of the wiki, or google and it would be easy to find

don't ask for an otp file cause if you do and you use it will brick your 3ds most likey since its different for every console

it is worth it not just for faster boot times but it pretty much makes your 3ds brick proof as long as you have a back up you can fix your system with out hardmod you can also get rid of emunand if you want and save some space on your sd card

stop spreading false claims. regardless of if you follow the guide exactly or not, there is a CHANCE, albeit slim, of bricking. i downgraded about 16 units now and 7 of them are on a9lh, and one of my units bricked upon restoring sysnand just right after getting OTP. did nothing different from the other units, it just decided to derp out on me.

theres more of a chance of bricking the n3ds then the old because the new 3ds requires and extra step and if you forget to do it it will brick your 3ds its pretty much unbricking you emunand after downgrading it to 2.10 cause its not ment to run on new 3ds then dumping emunand then flashing it to sysnand aside from user error bricks. the only way to get a non user error brick is if sysupdater or decrypt 9 crashes which is unlikely as ive never had them crash on me

The fact that he is asking this question to begin with shows that he simply hasn't read the guide, or at least hasn't read it very well.
I agree with @jerrmy12 in the sense that spoon-feeding essentially prevents people from learning how to do things themselves (in this case, learning how to read a guide), and that defending spoon-feeding, while you may think that you're being 'nice', is actually doing more harm than good in the long run.

Just for future reference, a rednand is exactly the same as an emunand (except obviously you can't run Gateway with it) except it is not quite as big for an n3ds (1.2g instead of 2g I think)

i can confirm you will not brick your console if you don't touch it. (well, actually if you don't touch it anymore it's basically a brick anyway)
there is no guarantee that you will not brick the console, just follow the Plailect's guide carefully and don't ignore any step...
it's your call... i have a 3ds xl i did a previous guide from other person and had some problems but nothing serious.. followed this guide, had no issue at all...
if the console bricks, you can get someone or yourself to do a hardmode and restore it back... unless you just bought the console and don't want to loose the warranty, that's up to you to decide
