I am trying to get the extracted graphic files from Ouendan to display in a tile editor, and I can't seem to get anything useful to show up. The images display in Tahaxan, and it says they are 4bit or 8bit graphics depending on the image, but no matter what options I try, I can't make any since of it. The files are ncgr files, and I have tried to get it to work in Tile Molester, TilEd, fatilety, and a few others, with no luck at all. Could anyone give me a good step by step guide on how to get them to show?

    Have you tried crystaltile?
Edit:NCGR? They may be LZ77 compressed.

I dabbled a bit with Crystaltile, but I couldn't find guide, and its not in English.

Can you get the stuff open? I want to try and do a simple menu translation, since the menu is mostly graphic files, and have found a good amount of the menu's files, but I can't get them opened in a tile editor to edit them, just viewable in Tahaxan.
