Hello, is there a way I can downgrade luma to 7.1 from the latest version, I tried moving the old boot.firm flie to the root of my sd, but I get this error.

That happens because Luma 7.1 doesn't support boot9strap 1.1 and above. So you would need to downgrade your boot9strap but I don't suggest on it because I don't want to be responsible for a brick.

Because whenever I try to launch a .3dsx app from the HBL, I get an error message saying that "An exception has occurred".

Things to check/try:
Latest homebrew launcher
https://3ds.guide/finalizing-setup
Latest Luma boot.firm
latest version of the 3dsx app.

as for downgrading luma... you can try downloading the 7.1 boot.firm from https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/releases and see if it works.

But you may have to downgrade boot9strap too... Maybe flash a nand backup with out protecting the firm would maybe downgrade that... I don't know.

HONESTLY I would just wait a several weeks for things to get fixed up on the current stuff and then go from there.

Thanks, that fixed the problem, I thought I had downloaded the latest version of HBL, but I was using an older one, updating it fixed the error.

Now all of the apps load just fine.
