Some games offer you an "DataReset" or "Delete All Data" Option in the Option-Menu, others are using a "Button-Hold-On-Boot-Up-Combination"

But i just can't erase my savedata in..

- Street Fighter Upper Zero 3 (JAP)
- Pia Carrot Yokosou 3.3 (JAP)
- Card Captor Sakura - Mini Game (JAP)
- Dokey Kong Mini Classic (JAP)

Any help? I know or at least guess that there are some games who really don't have any Option to delete all saved data. Does anyone know a trick? I own an EZ-Fash II USB Writer - Can i use this device to kill the saves? Also owning an F2A-USB Cable. Is there a programm existing for doing this?

Just make a empty save with VBA and then overwrite the flashcart with that save file you just made.

I do that on games that are screwed up or I messed up a game where I missed something important. It is sometimes faster to do just that.

It depends on the flashcart your using.

EZ-Flash II EZClient:
Use the write saver icon to write your empty save over the current game's save.

F2A method:
Use the saver icon in F2A to write your empty save over the current game's save.

@outgum
your suppose to use the hammer, it is 100% effective of erasing.

The games are not on a flash card, i mean original carts.

I tried already yesterday what you recommend - I guess the EZ Software isn't able to write down a save file to an original cart. But why?

Nope.

I just found out that only SRAM and Flash Saves can be saved to an original card. Not EEPROM.
And all 4 games above are having EEPROM.

GBA Backup Tool? This is an NDS Programm right?

I guess it is really impossible to erase the save data of this roms.

Those F***** Japanese Guys who have "forgotten" any DataDelete Option!

Ok, I tried different things with GBA_BACKUP_TOOL 0.21, i was using a DS-Linker to launch the Programm.

My Problems are: Very often, it won't detect the GBA Carts... and... after using the "Initialize the save area of the rom"-Option, i won't detect the carts i used it on anymore. Also it stucked at 50% and the saver on the carts is still there
