Hi I have atmosphere and hekate on the Switch.
The microSD card is Fat32 and it's in the switch. Just in case anybody thinks I'm taking the SD card out of the SD slot every - I can confirm it's not being taken out.. It stays in the SD slot and I transfer games via USB. There's approx 100gb of free space on the SD card.
When I transfer game files smaller than 4gb (NSP and XCI) they copy across no problem and install fine.
This is how I copy them over to the switch
1) Turn switch on
2) Connect switch to PC via USB
3) Open Tinfoil on the switch
4) Copy the NSP to the 'Games' folder
5) Then I proceed to install it.
When the game file is larger than 4gb though it simply refuses to copy over. How do you get past this? It HAS to be possible otherwise nobody would bother to upload games that are larger than 4gb as it'd be completely pointless as they don't go on the switch.
Please AS MUCH DETAIL AS POSSIBLE. I am not overly familiar with this whole thing so please give as much info as possible.
