Hacking How can I confirm what firmware upgrade is on a cart?

Have a 3.0.0 and going to update to 4.1.0

I have the original Kirkby Allies cart which allegedly has the correct firmware... But how can I be sure? Only just bought the game so want to be sure before doing the update.

Any ideas?

not sure if it matters but I would reboot to OFW just in case something to note is if you have auto RCM enabled updating the system firmware disables it so you would need to re enable it

I am a newbie, but are you aware that there is a way to update firmware without a cartridge?

I'm on 4.1.0, and I own that game. it didn't ask for an update, so I assume it's 4.1.0 or below.

Pretty sure if you load any .xci file into XCI explorer it has the firmware version info for the cart in the Mastery key info box.
