I need this for take the game updates from another console without erase information and copy it to my console,coz i dont have internet at home

I am not completely sure - but my understanding is that this will not work. The files on the hdd will only work on the ps4 that downloaded them.

You're gonna have to lug your entire ps4 over to your pal's place.

System transfer with a direct Ethernet connection. It will overwrite all data on the target machine though.. I used to have to do this with a friend of mine that didn't have internet. Had to put his account on my ps4 and copy his save games before the transfer.

games installed on the external will work on ANY jailbroken system. so you can go from system to system, i do it all the time. But as far as cloning i never tried it.
