Hacking How big of an sd card can the psvita read?

So I don’t know why but I really want a vita to play some retro games and stuff like remote play and the hype of 3.65-3.68 being exploitable is no better time to get a brand new ps vita, I’m new to the ps vita hacking scence but I know the basics. I obviously don’t want to use the ABSURD propieritary Priced sd cards from Sony. So I’m going to use those adapter things, can I use one over 256gb? I’m mostly leaning on getting the 256gb one but just curious on how big of an sd card it can read.

I know they can read 256, idk about 512+.
Also, if you have an old fat Vita you'll still need a memory card for h-encore (but it can be a 4gb one).

Thanks but yeah, I’m not getting the old vita, the new one where the circle around the controls don’t connect with the circle pads which is like the 2000 models or something like that
