Are we counting across all hard drives, or just the internal ones? I've got lotsa external ones hooked up (2 80GB's, 1 60GB, 1 30GB) but internally have 2.2TB [IMG]

    Why are we askin?

Internal: 500GB, almost always >95% full, mainly downloads I'm too lazy to delete and dvr-ms files that for some reason even though they aren't even HD are 4GB per half hour.
    External: 250GB, almost always

40! BEAT THAT! I used to have 60 but it screwed up, they ran out of 60s and 80s so there, I got a 40GB HDD on my laptop right now.

    100gig, laptop.
Thanks for this, I just checked and 80 gig is taken up.
I've got to find what is taking up so much space now, because I don't use 80 gigs.

You kids these days and your terabyte hard drives.

Well, let's see.....on THIS computer.....the one I use the most.

    A 250gig as C:
    A 400gig as D:
    A 300gig as E:
    A 300gig as F:

    So, 1.25TB.

That's not counting the ~4TB of networked external storage and the storage space in the 6 other PC's in the house. We currently have about 8TB of total storage space here. Never really added it up completely.

The PC in my bedroom (which I rarely use) is the lightest on internal storage......only 360gigs......one 160gig as C: and a 200gig as D:, my old 60gig died in it, but I never took it out, just unplugged it.

Actually, I guess the laptop technically has the least amount of internal storage....only a 180gig.

We record a lot of TV shows and that is what is using most of the space.
