House of the Dead 2 and 3 Returns on the Wii is the closest we will get it seems.
However there was an English of the Dead game for the NDS that had Japanese to English practice tools.
Think typing of the dead but more educational.
As for 3DS it wouldn't be the best platform anyway.
I'd love to see it ported to Wii U or all the games ported to PC but it looks pretty slim.
If you dig around though there have been attempts at indie games trying to re capture it to an extent.
Nothing off the top of my head though.

    If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction
