Hacking Hotel Dusky Acting Musky

Trying to play Hotel Dusk on my Supercard DSone. However, everytime the game starts up, it freezes on the "don't touch the power button or shut the game off, game is saving" screen (the one right after it asks you if you're right or left handed.) Don't know what the save size thingy is (do I even have to change it? [lawl, n00b]) and the rom has been patched with trim and restart settings. What up wit dat?
