I'll have to try it first, but it looks like a very interesting game. I don't know what I'd do without the suggestions/previews I find on this forum! How'd I live before GBATemp?? I DON'T KNOW!

    Quoted for the truth.

If this plays anything liked Another Code then I'll really enjoy it. [IMG]

I'm looking forward to this one!

    Another Code is AMAZING

So far, its one of the few, if the only game to take advantage of almost all of the DS's features
Shame it was short, admittedly, but i loved it none the less

When you play through it a seconds time, whats the difference??

I've been looking forward to this game ever since it was announced (and since I bought Trace memory really...).

    EGM gave it a 8.0, 8.0 and a 10 for the review.

    I'm excited now.

Hopefully it'll be a bit longer than Another Code, but beside this, Another Code was awesome [IMG]

yeah, it even used "features" that i didn't even think of being a feature (using the screens as mirrors, closing the ds to make a stamp...)

I took a survey on this game a few months ago hehe. I'm not allowed to reveal the specific things that could feature in the game. haha. I can't remember them. They seem serious about this game though, not many games have market research done about them after they have been developed.

ok download my skin and unrar it

you will get four pictures numbered from 1 -4

    rename

    pic 1 to logo.bmp
    pic 2 to icons.bmp
    pic 3 to bckgrd_1.bmp
    pic 4 to bckgrd_2.bmp

then place all four pictures in your system folder it will ask if you want to
    replace them say yes

do not change the bitmap file to any othe rpicture format only works if you use bitmaps

    and your all set

I'm a huge fan of graphic adventure games, but I wasn't that impressed by another code. The most important element for any graphic adventure game, to me, is a sense of danger-- the feeling that if you make the wrong decision, your game could end. There's simply no way to die in another code, which gives it a sleepy kind of quality that fails to keep my attention, particularly when the puzzles are so easy and the writing so bland.

Hotel Dusk seems more promising if only for the scores from EGM. If I recall correctly, they gave Another Code scores around 6 or 7, and they almost never give true graphic adventure games high review scores.

Another Code was fun, but far too linear and short. And damned, this crappy "stylus-only-walking" sometimes made me mad.

But Hotel Dusk seems far more dark and deep in it scenario. Just afraid of this use of 3D, the DS having lots of problems providing a beautiful and fluid 3D (crappy "Viewtiful Joe - Double Trouble" at 20-25 FPS when fighting multiple guys :/).

in my oponion the 3d-engine is not that important for an adventure game..
the screenshots and trailers look awesome, though.. and the unique mix between 3d environment and pencil-sketch characters makes me looking forward to this one
