When I got my Acekard2i, I just wiped out everything by deleting everything and just installed AKAIO v1.5.

I followed the instructions on the AKAIO wiki here. You might not need to do the formatting step (I didn't).

Make sure to get the latest loaders for most current game support, also mentioned in the wiki. Here's the link.
http://akaio.gbatemp.net/nloaders/

And put the new loaders in the correct place:
USAGE: Download the file for your card and unzip it to your "__aio/loaders" directory on your card

Code:
Quick Guide
1.Format the microSD with the Panasonic formatter.
2.Download the current version of AKAIO
3.Unzip the file and put the _aio* folder and akmenu4.nds at the Root (base) of your microSD card
4.Insert the microSD card firmly in a non-spring loaded (new shell) ak2.1 and ak2i. If your microSD slot is spring loaded make sure it "clicks."
5.Insert the Acekard firmly into your NDS, again make sure it clicks.
6.Boot up the NDS, select the Acekard from the firmware Slot-1 selection box, and enjoy
*Please note that the _aio folder is hidden by default in the globalsettings.ini, do not place homebrew or roms in this folder you will not be able to access them. You can however set the GUI to display all hidden files and folders. The recommended method is to place your files into folders in Root. Never place a file you want to access in the _aio folder.

the formatting step is recommended because msd companies use batch formatting scripts. they do not format each msd 1 at a time using the panasonic formatter software. the panasonic formatter formats the msd to the correct specifications. for optimal use it is recommended to use it each and every time you reformat the msd card.

you mean your save files are still there but it won't load them?
sorry my english is kinda bad, but i'll try to help you, forgive me if i'm wrong
If it doesn't load your saves, check what extension they have. If it's *.nds.sav, make sure that in the system settings the save file extionsion is set to *.nds.sav. Good luck

I think i may have fixed it, sorry for the late response! Certain games on my modded 3ds were not loading. I switched to a new MicroSD adapter which appears to have helped a little bit, but i am redownloading and installing these new CIA files to see if maybe it was the game file that did not work,,,,i will come back with updates

Does anyone know which one of those picos on Ali Express is the most recommended for OLED switches? I see some that have the dat0 as yellow and some are black but they each have variations I can't seem to find any straightforward current info on them. I'm leaning toward the black picofly with the 4 ground points for stability. But I'm just not sure which model is the n
