    Hello folks,

    just wanted to let you know.
    Four days ago I bought two G6 lite flashcards at Hopebuy. I paid with paypal - and their support was nice and responsive.
    [...]
    Now I have recieved my package and it contains .... ONE .... EZ-FLASH 2 POWERSTAR. Without a flashburner without ANYTING just the plastic casing and the cart. I feel like I have been royally screwed over!

    More details will follow, I will contact them now to see if I can sort it out - the pessimist in me doesn't think so. [​IMG]

    Shipping mistakes happen. Of course it's not nice to have to sort that crap out but wait to see what their service is like.

    Wow, that sucks. I would suggest emailing them with your order number and hitting their forums too since I have never gotten an email back from them. I'm sure they'll sort it out for you though.

    LOL tell them to send you your REAL stuff, and say you are sending that product back (but dont send it) just keep it and when they try to contact you just say.."maybe it got mixed up in the mail"

    Yeah that's true, but still I wonder if some guy got lucky and recieved 2 G6L instead of the EZ2 he ordered. And what do I do if they play dumb or if I send the package back and they say they haven't got it. Of course I could ship it back to them using UPS Express, but these are epxenses I have to pay, because THEY messed up big time. Also that means lots of running around and waiting, because they could not tell their packages apart. And all of this while I'm moving my house... so this is the wrong incident at the damn wrong time.

    And yeah I contacted them, hope to see their answer soon, they'd better offer me some sweet deal.

    I understand your frustration I would be the same. I know it's not a good mistake but Hopebuy must ship hundreds of orders a week so it's understandable that mistakes happen. I don't think Hopebuy would rip you off, just explain the situation (which you have). I'm sure they will offer for you to ship the items back reply paid. As you say, it was Hopebuy who made the mistake so they should pay the charge.

    Thats why they call it "hopebuy" cuz u "hope" to get what you "buy"... but in some cases you dont... jk. In a more serious note if u styl have ur reciept there should be no problem returning or re getting the stuff! cuz if u styl hav the packaging an erythin than they can't prove you wrong since the package and the products says it came from them what with all the serial numbers, addresses and whatnots... good luck...

    I have contacted them and they seem really nice and responsive about it. Only thing that worries me is that the other guy is reluctant to send out "his" 2 G6 lites as they are a much higher value than his order. But it looks like Hopebuy is going to send me fresh ones anyway.
    Still - I think it's still a bit too early to celebrate as I don't have my stuff yet. But I will keep you updated. [​IMG]

    I'm sure it will. I have nothing but praise for hopebuy, everything transacted perfectly for me with him and you said yourself their support was nice and responsive. I think the addy's got mixed up in your case since it was another dudes powerstar. There's no need to be pessimistic other than the mix up in the first place.

    Indeed. Honest mistakes do not warrant this type of asshole move. Suppliers in general are rare as is already.

    i have nothing no complains about hopebuy, very good service, they reply to all my mails within 24 hours, delivery was 4 days.
    I would recommend it

    Since this thread has quite grown I think it's a good idea to keep you posted - so.

    I have exchanged emails with the Hopebuy stuff and have recieved a new Tracking number for my 2 G6 lite. If the package arrives without hassle and has the right contents this time - it would be really awesome.
    Honestly I did not expect them to be this responsive.
    Also I have mailed them their stuff back via Express, and no I do NOT want to screw them over if they offer such a fine service.
    I think they will be my vendor for further flash card endevadors if the package arrives and really contains 2 G6 lite, but I'm quite posititve now that this will be the fact. [​IMG]

    what shippinh service did you choose?, i picked ups and it dosent seem like ill get it anytime soon....

    Well I took UPS as shipping method aswell and it was pretty damn speedy for me. It took them three days from the confirmation eMail to me getting my (wrong) package. So I surely can't complain. Maybe your package is having trouble with the toll or something ?
