Just noticed this in the DSLinux mailing list:
"Hi, I finally made some progress with getting graphics enabled in links browser under dslinux and wanted to share it .

    links -g -dither-images 1 -display-optimize 1 -html-image-scale 50 www.google.com

My port of gpm to dslinux still needs some work in libgpm, so the mouse isn't working yet. And there are alot of graphical problems with fonts, but the graphics show up great if they fit the screen size.

Yay! I hope this is installed in the next nighty bulld of DSLinux.

    Huzzah indeed!

I wonder when DSL will use a real GUI, though, kinda like a true PDA interface instead of blindly reproducing the whole CLI.

I've heard the devs talk about the way the gui should be designed and made, so I thiink they're already working on that. But I doubt I can say anything... [IMG]

Does anyone know when a better browser than retawq will be released for DSLinux? It's very hard to see what's going on in the current version. I'd love to see some pictures or even just the background color.
