Just saw this on the DCemu forums:
Check it out!
Could be just a video. a guy did the same when he supposedly made melty blood for the Gba. i nearly cried ;-;
No offense to the creator. if its real, i love him/her
I can only imagine how awesome a port of Starfox running at 60fps would feel on DS. (Not that it was running at 60fps in that video)
No info, No downloads NOTHING but a youtube video *thumbs down*!
that's most likely not a port...
is it even possible to port something if you don't have the source?
Nope not possible. The definition of porting is adapting source code meant for a specific platform so that it compiles and runs on another platform. So without source code, it's not porting. That's where emulation comes in
But I don't see why someone would emulate starfox only and not full SNES while he's at it...
Not possible due to the game on the snes using FX chip on the original cartridge. Emulating one processor is hard enough - emulating a coprocessor as well is downright impossible. Besides, there was sound and speed to that "port" and the best snes emu on the DS can only just manage sound and is still slow.
Video footage played on the DS.
Actually, there was a StarFox homebrew port for de GBA (Starfox advance, i think it was called) and it was true, as I played it. It was only a demo... first level I think (it was long time ago) but it was true...
Read the description, he's working on an emulator to run StarFox.
Looks like an okay job...
Not a port. But yeah, why only Star Fox? >.
Why is the video so blurry? Usually that means fake
