Which entrypoint are you using on it? Cubic Ninja? OoT 3D? Homebrew Launcher CIA?

If you just updated your emuNAND to 10.4, make sure you're connected to wifi, and then try holding Y as you run the CIA so it downloads a new payload.

I just ran it on my emunand (rxtools) which is on 10.4, the error states that 10.4 isn't supported. Either wait for a new version of the HBL cia or switch to Ninjhax for the time being.

EDIT: Holding Y does fix the problem.

Oh, you mean to edit the payload, to some custom 3dsx file?

the infamous red screen lock ^^
that's the main problem with what they say in every coldboot guide. using the filename "boot.3dsx" for ctrboot will give you the same problem EVERY TIME you'll update emunand.
the right thing to do would actually be to leave hbl as boot.3dsx, change the name of ctrboot to something else and then modify menuhax's payload accordingly. problem solved.
