i know its the opposite of gaming but i was doing my homework today and i couldnt think of what a word meant and i was no where near the internet or a dictionary.
i think it would be cool if someone made a dictionary app.

I'd like an advanced dictionary myself, and not something tiny. Something like dictionary.com on the ds without using a Wifi connection would be wonderful.

This is actually a good idea. Maybe have a certain amount of word on the app and be able to connect to wifi to get more words to save space.

There's already a dictionary app and several ones at that.

Forget what they're called though : \

NewDict I think? iono

It's also an encyclopedia IIRC. You just have to get the dictionary & encyclopedia files.

EDIT - It's called NewDictS07m

You can also download the dictionary in .txt format from Moonbooks and use a text editor to scroll through it (or use Vi in DSLinux to be able to search through it).

but that would take forever

and won't a developer need to type up ALL the words from a real dictionary while creating such a homebrew? (or unless ALL the words could be exported from a site.. I dunno)
