Hacking homebrew dont save... help

i need help!!!

i got a ds fire link, http://my.opera.com/ezpetpet/blog/nds-fire-link-card

and i have problems with saving on homebrews
i use the good dldi patch
it can load files but dont save files

snemulds: load roms but doesn't save gamesaves
lameboy: load roms but doesn't save gamesaves
nitrotracker: load music but doesn't save music

go into your dsystem folder open up the global file, go down the list untill you see writable=0 change the 0 to a 1. your homebrew should now save

The DS Fire Link doesn't have DLDI support on their drivers. You'll need to download the new MK5 drivers and then install them over your current N-Card DS Fire Link ones. Then you can enable the DLDI auto patch and write as the user suggested. If you need more help contact me via the link in my sig and we can chat by IM step-by-step.

Well you need to upgrade your firmware and also add the new dsytems folder.

http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=51313 . download the build 12 firmware and also follow the instructions willsey posted. after you update change the global file as i told you above. The passme functions is so you can boot up your slot 2 cards with out flashing your ds i think.

as soon as you boot up your n-card press the buttons stright away.Dont wait for the n-card menus to come up. also remember to back up your files.

It doesnt matter its the same card. it just has a diffrent label and name.

but when i start nand_all.bat it says:

"nieuwe map" is dutch

that update shouldnt screw up your card either. tell me what you did exactly and tell me what happens exactly?

am thinking you updated your firmware from an early version instead of a recent version 123o.

follow these steps EXACTLY

1. Create a folder called update onto your C: Drive on your harddrive
(open my computer, click Drive C)

2. Download the these 2 files and put them into the update folder created

3. Plug in the N Card writer into slot 2 and into an empty usb slot on your PC

4 Switch on your NDS holding Buttons L,R,A,B and DOWN to do a format, RESTART YOUR NDS AFTERWARDS

5. Switch on your NDS again Holding Buttons L,R,A,B and UP to put the card into flash mode. (USB SAFE BLOCK)

6 Goto the update folder were you put the downloaded files and extract the NCARD 123o update (unc_123o_english.rar) .

You should now have 2 folders UDISK and DSYSTEM,Go into the UDISK folder, with the NDS in flash mode and connected to your pc via the usb writer, click on the NAND_256k_ENG.bat file, after it has completed RESTART YOUR NDS AGAIN.

7. Switch on the NDS with buttons L,R,A,B and Down again to do another format, once it has completed windows will regonize a mass storage device, copy the DSYSTEM folder from the update folder created earlier .

once restarted your nds and card should be working as normal,

As you were looking savestate support you need dldi write support.

extract the other file downloaded (nand_statble_16.zip) into the update folder and copy my guide written here

wat kind of dldi file this update need the dslinker
