So I just bought a new wii from amazon, I got very lucky and found it plays DVDs and wanted to make my default method of loading apps through usb, however when I try to load from usb when the sd card is in it fails to load the usb apps and only displays the sd cards apps and then when I try to load from a usb stick without the sd card inserted the Homebrew channel crashes with a stack message on screen. I know this usb works with wii homebrew from using it with an old wii so I'm very unsure as to why the wii I

Could either be the USB stick is improperly formatted or just the fact that it's a flash drive.
well that's the problem, I've used this flash drive before with success from my old wii, it's in fat32, it's also worked for things like wii usb loaders and dios mios

UPDATE: I've found that nintendont can read and load gamecube isos from the usb so it's definitely the homebrew channel....
