Alright so I updated my wii because I didn't think it would do anything. But after updating I found out it took away the twilight hack thing. I also heard people having problems with their homebrew channel. So I tried all the applications on my homebrew channel to see what works and doesn't work and here's what I found out.

Applications that I know of that work:

    Genesis Plus
    DuckHunt
    Gecko OS
    GNUBOY GX
    SNES 9X
    Homebrew browser
    Ocarina
    Quake
    SDexplorer
    Doom for the Wii
    WiiPhysics

Applications that I know of that don't work:

    Wad installer 2.1
    Wad Uninstaller 1.1
    Wad manager 1.21
    Any title Deleter
    IOSdowngrader

So I can't install wads anymore which sucks. So could someone tell me if there is a new application or a new version of an application that can install and uninstall wads with the new wii system menu update? Thank you.

Also if you have a custom cios installed, but did the update. You can not install the new Backup Loader ver 3. It will give you a -1 error. Do not uninstall the cios 249 or you will lose all of these apps.

You're basically screwed, for now. Just ride it out, and there will be a fix soon.

there is a way to install a newer version of cios if you updated but still have cios installed on your wii. somebody posted a modified version of patchmii which installs a cios as ios254. with that ios249 and ios254 installed it is possible to uninstall or update cios v5 or older and install v6 via ios254.

€dit: i found the posts where the modified patchmii was mentioned first and released. i searched over 300 pages when i finally remembered that he posted it in wiigators blog comments. the modifications where done by supercool330.
