I just installed Uneek+DI and dumped my current running Nand to use as the neeked nand. Uneek starts and runs the system menu, Game files launch ok but the Homebrew Channel locks at the Scam Screen. Not sure why I get that screen as the normal run of the real nand doesn't go to that scam screen. Any ideas why this is failing. I'm at the latest HB using system menu 4.1 with cIOS 249 @ V17.

Ah...I see you found out the hard way that HBC 1.0.8 and sneek don't like each other (I had this very same thing).

    *searches a bit*

Here we are: the background information. In summary: it won't work. Try it with 1.0.7 instead.

Because people were reporting mystery bugs (that couldn't be reproduced) that were actually problems with SNEEK (example).

Doesn't the guide specifiy HBC1.0.7 anyways? I ended up installing HBC1.0.7 on my real NAND, extracting WAD with BlueDump and then installing to virtual NAND with ShomwiiWads. Job done (after some faffing, but got there in the end)

the real reason they try to prevent it from running under sneek is that you can easily dump the RAM when the HBC/installer are running and then use that to crack/hack/zomg and sell the HBC!

I thought it was due to IOS58 not working in sneek?

Just trying to understand, why would anybody sell the HBC? I mean homebreware been doing that for years, doesn't mean they do well, and doesn't hurt twiizers credibility so what difference does it make?

Ok so HBC .8 won't work with sneek. How do I install .7 on sneek?

You have to install it on a genuine nand, not emu, then extract it from there in showmiiwads and install into emu nand

Use Hackmii installer 0.7, install HBC and then look here on how to install HBC1.0.7 http://gbatemp.net/t218725-sneek-di-quick-guide? If Wad Creator doesn't work, try BlueDump. AS DonkeyPlonk said, install HBC1.0.7 on REAL NAND first, then extract using Wad Creator or Blue Dump
