Hacking Homebrew channel no longer works

I upgraded to 4.0 using the tutorials here. After doing that, the homebrew channel no longer works. I click on it, and I get a black screen. What happened?

try following the guides on this site. I'm guessing either the guide on there sucks or you just didn't follow them perfectly.

I followed the one for 3.4 and got everything to work there, just didnt install the backup loader (shouldn't make a difference). I then followed the 4.0 update guide. Should I reinstall the HBC using bannerbomb?

The one that is part of the hackmii installer.

reinstall it and see if that works, if still nothing then try installing HBC 1.0.1, or at last of thing just say good-bye to HBC

Used bannerbomb and reinstalled. Works fine now.
