Hacking Homebrew channel goes to black screen when loaded through bootmii

Everytime I try to select the HBC through bootmii I just get a black screen. I never used to have this problem before.

I installed using hackmii v1.2. I installed it both as boot2 and IOS(I have no idea what these mean or if I even need them both.)

I have the homebrew channel installed.

My wii is 4.2U by the way. If that matters.

Ok. It looks like after I installed the HBC with the newest hackmii it worked! (removing the old one.)

Any titles installed to the wii has a "TitleID" which is used to launch the application.

After each update of the console, Nintendo blacklisted the known TitleID.
So the HBC had different and new titleID after each "ban".

You probably still had an old titleID, so after installing newer Bootmii tried to launch the new TitleID and couldn't find it.
installing the new HBC fixed it, it deleted the old one and installed the new one.
