Team Twiizers probably tested it

I haven't tested it yet. It's pretty useless right now anyway. Mplayer, GeeXboX and DMP will only support SDHC when the authors add SDHC-support. The Homebrew Channel doesn't magically add SDHC-support, it's just that it can load from SDHC.

At least that's how I understood it...

I tried a 4 GB mircroSHDC card(in an adapter) and it worked. Before you really are able to use it, you will have to wait for SDHC enabled applications. You can start Mplayer, GeeXbox and DMP from a SDHC card, but the applications don't have drivers for SDHC, so you can't play any music or movies from the card.

Yeah, that's right, but i was meaning that these apps will for sure end up with SDHC support in the up and coming few days no doubt

I haven't actually tested playing a full film etc through mplayer. (just a quick flick through) pretty happy with the quality and synch, but i didnt have it on long so i aint too sure, but its pretty sound to just send over something to watch instead of writing a disc incase you dont like the particular video file

i still maintain ill stick to my data dvd player/recorder

I'm pretty sure the SD will get super hot, i'm going to have to give it a whirl, with this SDHC support, best get that wii fan on

This would be great if all the homebrew developers start adding sdhc support, but someone will also have to make it so that the wii will read it for it's regular applications. Otherwise we will be swapping back to regular SD for moving save files and using DLC in GHWT.

Hmm.
I guess you don't have the required version of IOS, IOS21.

Maybe you should pop in a (newer) Wii game, run Nuke's Wii Update File Extractor, move the IOS21 file in SD:/ to SD:/wad/ and install from the WAD Manager.

the patch is now in libogc CVS so the only thing they have to do is to recompile libogc binaries then compile their code with this new libogc...anyone familiar with devkitppc could even do it himself

otherwise, regarding dols/elf, ALL last emulators version have come with a dol

I successfully compiled it by reverting:

Makefile
gccore.h
system.c

to the previous revisions

I don't know what wiilaunch is, never heard of it but it doesnt sound "libogc-like" at all
