Ugh, this thread. OP, when using a downgrader and it errors out, just reboot and go back into homebrew and launch the downgrade again. It will complete the process and you'll be fully downgraded. Also, go with AuReiNand. It saves you from a lot of headaches. To install it, you just copy the files directly over to your SD. To unlink your NANDs, you go to system settings on SysNAND, go to format the system, and when the big, red button pops up, eject your SD card then format. Afterwards, you can put it back in. After doing this, run Emunand9 and create an EmuNAND.

Alright, let me break it down as much as I can. I might be incorrect, but at least it worked for me. SysNAND is basically your system. If you have an unmodified 3DS, you are running on SysNAND. Messing with SysNAND (like modifying system files) could get you soft or hard bricked. EmuNAND is basically your SysNAND, but on your SD Card. Think of it as a virtual 3DS. If you break EmuNAND, you can just go into your SysNAND and restore a previous backup. If you do not format your SysNAND after setting up EmuNAND, problems might appear. Changing your theme on EmuNAND will also change your theme on SysNAND, problems with NNID, etc. The most important part is that if your NANDs are linked and you update EmuNAND, this will also update SysNAND! This is why you have to unlink your NANDs with either TinyFormat or the built in format option in system settings. Personally, TinyFormat is better because using the other option requires an internet connection, removing your micro SD Card, and could break some NNID stuff.

Well I got banned by Nintendo after I upgraded my Emunand. So I was wondering if I could downgrade my Emunand will it be fixed? Or is the ban for the both the sysnand and emunand?

Errr... What did you do to get banned? Also, you can just use whatever you used to downgrade SysNAND for EmuNAND. Make an EmuNAND backup just to be safe!

EDIT: What type of ban? Console ban? NNID ban?

Yeah, it is, but you'd be back to square one (no hax) without A9LH since there's no ARM9 kernel exploit above 9.2.
