there were told to exist for a while some "bad dumps" that allowed nintendo to detect their use, although it seems that Nintendo used them.

Basically they just will block my custom amiibo cards because of signature? That is way less problematic than ban ;-)

Yeah, those .bin files can really raise havoc on your pc...

I mean... I'm sure there are things that claim to be it, only to say shit like "amiibo.bin.exe", hoping that the person who downloaded it doesn't know computers or something like that.

You would be surprised if i tell you that you can do way cooler thing than "virus" in *.bin file, first step for an "exploit" to get in to the pc....
