So I was downloading a file a minute ago and noticed I was getting 1,000 kbps.

I usually get 3400 down and 630 up.

So I paused my download and did a speed test.

I'm so excited, I hope my ISP never finds out...I have no clue whats changed. But im happy, and im using the crap out of it right now.

Edit: Atlanta, Georgia is my closest speed test location, but Florida's server went faster.

Yeah I might...haha... I'm downloading a file right now at 965 kbps and I do a speed test with it going and still get 4600 kbps down.

I can get 20000KBS down on my apple. Only on speedtest.net though. I usually get 300KBS when downloading from a file share site.

@paul1991 - That's because you use Comcast. comcast users can't use the speedtests accurately because of the powerboost thing which inflates scores like mad.

yeah, i usually have to seed a torrent for 1week to have a 1.5 ratio on them :\

Still the speeds are amazing, I get at least the advertised speed when downloading from really good servers.
