Just curious, Is this worth checking out at all? Even at free, it looks like a pass.

Hmm not sure yet as i only downloaded the game to store it on my computer and tried a few minutes if it run properly. The game is old (1997) but is said to have good humor, and the fan made English translation to provide a quite professional quality.

The Next Big Thing is supposed to be the sequel. http://en.wikipedia....lywood_Monsters

Only cons i could mention as of now are the spanish voicing some could not understand (me for instance) and their system to download the game, quite annoying with some program to install first, FX interactive shop thing. Can't go wrong with free game anyway and only 546 MB on hard drive.

Can someone who's got this offer enlighten me about FXWebPlayer.

Do you need to be connected to the internet to play the game? Does it communicate with that site? I'm not keen on adding junk installers when they shouldn't be necessary.

You have to install it in order to download and install the game on your computer. Just tried and you can safely uninstall it once done with that. Start the game using Monsters.exe in the game folder, doesn't need any internet connection.

Welcome, i'm not sure and can't try to confirm having only a desktop PC but chances are the game has no DRM so you might just copy the install folder to play it on another computer. Or just sign in another account during the offer to get it on that other PC.
