"Goldenheart" Hitto wins the tournament!

Final ranking
1. Hitto: 136 pts
2. Ruegore: 103 pts
3. Filb: 97 pts
(for more details concerning all 4 matches, read the comments)

234 participants, 5 rounds, one winner!
Hitto wins the tournament!
Hitto said:
So I wanted at first to take the GCN, and donate it to Child's Play, a Charity hosted every christmas by penny-arcade
BUT, I don't feel like taking something to give it away, so if any of you two guys really really want it, I'll give it up.
And he isn't even interested in prizes! He left the choice up to RueGorE, who picked the M3-Lite and Filb chose the GCN lot. The EWIN will be given to PlayerAdvance.org for a future coding competition.
Videos of the races will soon be available.

I would like to personnally thank every participant of this tournament, and all our referees!
Not forgetting our generous GCN donator, thieves_like_us !

Please correct the prizes list, Costello : My only prize is victory!

I set into this tournament reluctantly at first, because snaking wasn't allowed, but I wanted to prove that snakers are not dirty little cheaters, but instead skilled racers who race like the wind! I hope I proved my point!

It's been a long, grueling trek to finish this tournament, as you'll all agree, but it was worth it. Even with the WFC working like utter and total shit, the mere ability to race other people than your roommates, and more importantly, people from all over the world was just fantastic.

So, thanks Nintendo, thanks to our generous benefactor "Thieves Like Us", thanks to every opponent I've mercilessly trounced for being excellent sports, and thanks a lot to everyone on the GBATemp staff for organizing this huge, almost-five-month-long party!

I hope I can start off a nice little coding compo with that flashcart, and be responsible for homebrewers everywhere to keep their amazing work up, so that we may all freely share open-source code and enjoy some kick-ass new programs!

AM ISRAEL 'HAI! VIVE LA FRANCE!

I hope everyone enjoyed the tournament, and I'm glad it's finally over! It's taken a long time, but it was fun!

Congrats. What great sportsmanship. When I get an internet connection sorted out, I'll be jumping on for the next tournament... as long as it's the Tetris DS one.

...

Can't wait till the next (metroid prime hunters?) contest, although the game has to be released in europe first, and we would have to be able to practice with it for a while.

(and also the organisers of the contest deserve some rest now)

Now that I'm back on the DS train, I look forward to the next tournament. Metroid; I dont do so well in. Tetris on the other hand...Tetris DS is the first time I touched the game since High School when I had one of those Tetris Jr things...

Congrats all racers
