Happen to know of any cartridges that include an update to 4.0.1 or 4.1.0 specifically? I can't think of any from that era I'd actually want to play. I don't know why, but a pure warmboot solution appeals to me, even if costs me 1 fuse. Seems like 4.1.0 supports more exploits than 3.0.1 somehow, just from the exploits I've seen in the wild so far.
Kirby Star Allies has it.

3.0.1 has more exploits.

If I'm not mistaken Fire Emblem ought to have the latest update flashed onto the cartridge.
8.0.1. So not quite latest, but very close

Thanks, so mario tennis or kirby it sounds like is my best bet. Thanks. Also what is one exploit that works on 3.0.1 that does not work on 4.1.0? As I see it fusee works on both, deja works on 4.1.0 and not 3.0.1 (it could work on 3.0.1 in theory but no one has provided the means to do so?)

See https://switchbrew.org/wiki/Switch_System_Flaws. For the most part, nothing crazy. But untethered coldboot is theoretically possible (if somebody finds a sysmodule savedata exploit). Deja Vu works on 3.0.1, but somebody need to port nvhax to 3.0.1 before it can be used

Really? It does run on firmware 7.0.1.
The version in the "SystemVersion" title of the firmware bundled with Fire Emblem Three Houses is "NintendoSDK Firmware for NX 8.0.1-1.0", so it's definitely 8.0.1. The SDK version is probably lower though (Am currently checking this, I'll update the post when I'm done.)

Update: It uses 6.x SDK and is encrypted with 7.x/8.0.x keys
