I don't see how this is gonna work out, but who knows. Either it's gonna be a really shitty PS360 game (Wii engine on HD consoles?) or it's gonna be developed with PS360 as the target and then ported to Wii, in which case it will sell a whole 10 copies on the latter (maybe).

Edit: It appears that HVS is planning on releasing this game on Halloween. Of next year.

    ...Yeah.

That sucks, I was really hoping the Wii would finally get a good 3rd party exclusive title [IMG]. Mind I don't have a Wii so when it comes out on PC that's actually good for me.

I could see the PS3, but why the 360? It's an obvious L4D clone (even HVS has kinda eluded to that), and clones are usually worse than the original game. It was meant to be L4D for the Wii.

Regardless, it's good to see more news on this. I thought the title was gonna eventually become vaporware since no one was picking it up for publishing.

EDIT: Also, HALLOWEEN 2011? Are you shitting me? By then the Wii will probably be seeing its successor. Nintendo is blowing out every single big name this year. There's nothing for this year. Sigh...

Actually, if they add cross-platform multi-player it may end up being a good thing that it's not exclusive [IMG].

If this turns out like Killing Floor, it could be pretty good.

    BETRAYALATON!!!

lol, i dont think anyone gives a crap about this game other then fanboys who wanted it as another exclusive to tout for list wars.

Also, expect a LOT more Wii->HD consoles happening soon, this game is going to support the Playstation Arc controller, and a lot more games that were previously wii exclusive will now come to PS3 and 360. I know for sure Boom Blox and Grand Slam Tennis are both coming out for PS3/360, developers have confirmed they are in development.

If it's going to be ported as a Wii game to PS3, it's going to be crap.

The only thing that keeps me interested in this is, that this has split-screen-multiplayer.
I don`t care for what consoles it also comes out, if the Wii-version will be good.

And if Microsoft have anything to say about it they can't. Microsoft's own servers host xbox live games.

When they were making Burnout Paradise for PS3/360, they sent a test version out that would allow you to play against anyone on Xbox Live and Playstation Network. Microsoft was apparently fuming and rejected the code immediately and Criterion had to add code to not allow the 2 networks to play against each other.

Microsoft would NEVER allow cross platform play except for MAYBE a MMO.

Nope. If it was an MMO, Microsoft would have no say in it because MMO's are actually the exception to the rule. MMO servers are hosted by the publisher AFAIK. Unless of course microsoft has some clause in it's licensing that says a game published on 360 can't communicate with competing devices. I wouldn't put it past them, they are a very proprietary company, and they have the money and resources to make it work.

I'm pretty sure they won't allow a PS3/360 game look like a Wii game.
If you watch the new teaser trailer, it definitely does not look like a Wii game.

Regardless, this game will be bad.
    HVS is a bad developer.
The Conduit was horrible, and I won't be surprised if this and that new gladiator game are both bad.

the title don't look really attractive to me,
from the e3 footage i would consider it to be a standart ego shooter without nameable storyline. so i don't bother that it is multi-plat

The Conduit was good, what the fuck are you on about? By far one of the best Wii FPS, maybe even the best. Some of the tightest controls I've seen and stellar graphics.

Well, now I feel like it's gonna be a multiplatform title with the Wii always getting the short end of the stick. I know that The Conduit didn't sell great (around .36 million), but odds are this is gonna be a bigger loss. I was gonna buy this from them, 100% sure, but now I'm borderline.

What I bolded is the key phrase. When the entire genre on the Wii is absolutely trash (let me remind you all, Metroid Prime is NOT a FPS), then being "the best" certainly isn't saying much. If The Counduit was released on the PS3/360 (even with graphics that can be considered "decent" for their systems), it would fail miserably in terms of sales and reviews (think Haze or Rouge Warrior). The game is as generic as it can ever be, with lackluster weapons (blatant ripoff of Halo), a pathetic excuse for a story that takes bits/pieces from other FPS games, and an incredibly glitchy multiplayer (worse than MW2).

Overall, HVS is a horrible developer, with a absolutely horrid track record of garbage games (with one or two that is actually sub-par at best). By developing for the Wii, they can actually get some spotlights they otherwise will never receive, but now they blew it because they want to gain mainstream success. HVS is a company that is trying to take more than they can chew, and they will most likely end up failing big with The Grinder. As a PS3 gamer, there's no way in hell that I would even touch this game, and I am definitely NOT alone on this one.
