Don't you hate it when your voice sound more child-like in comparison to everybody else whose voices are much deeper? I've been feeling a lot of discomfort for the past several years, as when I grew older, I start to realize that I still sound like my younger self and that I really want it to change because it doesn't line up to my image. Everybody else who are on the spectrum have similar monotone characteristics as I do, and let's face it, it sucks.

Anybody else have that same thought process?

I do tend to feel nervous whilst speaking on voice, hence why I tend to keep it down to text, unless it is one person who is there that I trust. Sure, I could get surgery to adjust my vocal cords, but the price is way out of my budget.

Do voice exercises.
Vocal cords are literally muscles. The less you use them the weaker they become. They struggle to hold a tone, and you have no control over the pitch and intonation. You end up squeaky and monotone.
There are voice and vocal cord exercises for both acting and singing, there's plenty of material online, give them a try.
