Hacking hi, simple questions about the G6 lite

So i'm new to all this, but i've already read up most of the information.
basically i will purchase a DS-lite next week..
and i dont want to keep on spending money on the future on games..

so here comes the G6-Lite.
from what I've read up:
i can put NDS roms and GBA roms onto it.
I need a passcard so that it will boot to the GBA slot.
thats all right?

some simple questions i have then:

1. what happens with games that use real time clock like animal crossing.. does it work?
2. any other problems with the games like FF3, mario kart? does the touch pad still work perfectly, and does the wifi work perfectly?
the wifi multiplayer is pretty important so i want to make sure it works
3. where are the most reliable places to buy this? so far i've only looked at WINSUNX's site.
btw I live in California, US. are there any places i can just go to and pick it up?
4. Prices. So the price i saw was $70 for the G6Lite and around $20 for the passcard3.
Is there anything cheaper than this? or is there anything smaller than the 512 MB, because i'm kinda low on money.
5. I don't have much experience with this, so after the $90 from the WINSUNX site let's say, how much do i have to pay for shipping?
also, are they in stock right now? and how long will I have to wait for shipment?

This is correct.

The DS has it's own internal clock, and I believe the G6 has a clock for GBA games.

does the wifi work perfectly? the wifi multiplayer is pretty important so i want to make sure it works

Download play only works if the DS without the cart has been flashed with the Flashme firmware. Multicart play should work fine with two flashcarts or one flashcart and an original DS game.

If you don't mind higher battery drain and somewhat lower GBA compatibilty, the supercard might be a good choice. http://www.winsunx.com/list.php?mod=766

If you don't mind giving up GBA compatibilty altogether, the supercard rumble is even cheaper. You'll still need a passcard or superkey, and you will also need an SD card.

Wifi online should work fine.

I've never tried online play myself, but it seems to work fine for the people that use it.

Most places, including winsunx, seem to be out of stock right now. The Kick Trading site (I bought mine there) says that they expect restock by the 11th.

GamerSection.ca lists having 18 in stock(combo with passcard 3) but I have not received mine that was ordered on the 22nd. The shipping was high because they use FedEx and claimed 2-4 day shipping. I think they just have not updated their quantity on their site. I have emailed them about the order, but they have not responded since it is the weekend.

from personal experience i can say that animal crossing online works with g6, and i have done tetris 2 player with one legit game and one g6 and that worked too. i had tetris trimmed but animal crossing wasn't.

It depends on the store, the shipping method and how far it's being shipped, but probably 1 to 2 weeks.
