Yes, as long as you have Luma. Note that things that use your NNID like Miiverse will not work without ctr-httpwn which was permanently patched on firmware 11.4.

Ok great the thing is i put luma cfw on my n3dsxl 11.3 and then i few weeks later i updated to the official nintendo firmware 11.4.so am i outta luck.

No. Updating to 11.5 is safe, even for stock 11.4 users. Do you have A9LH or B9S?

A9LH is unsupported, you should update to B9S as soon as possible. Just follow the guide. By the way, did you follow https://3ds.guide or a video guide?

If you're using A9LH you NEED to update. Follow the guide, it's really easy. SafeB9SInstaller literally has a 0% chance of bricking due to how many safety measures it has. Even if you don't need to play online it's still highly recommended.

No, but just to be safe use JKs Save Manager to backup you saves and backup any important data.

Ok updated to b9s but get the odd error exception has occured stack dump when i try to shut the 3ds sumtimes and at the bottom it says press to shut down strange is there a fix for this
