Hi, i got my new wii yesterday, its one of those new boards-that can not play burned backup discs.

    Got wiiflow-its working perfectly.

now, i would like to play some GC backups.

can i play these with some USB Loader-without the WODE Mod chip?

or there is any other way to play them?
    (iv'e installed Darkcorp-so i got Mios)

    Yes, there are ways.
    1. Buy a older wii drive and replace the new one
    2. Buy WODE
    3. Wait for DIOS MIOS (A GameCube USB Loader)
    4. Buy a SD or USB Gecko (But the Compatibility is not very high)
I think these are all possibilities, maybe someone know more.

How can you determine if your wii doesn't support burned backup discs? I bought my Wii yesterday too and I'm interested in playing GC backups as well.

    Thanks!

Look here to check if your drive is D3-2 and is incompatible with burned games.

If you bought that wii retail then you wont be able to play them.

The best way to boot burned Gamecube backups is with neogamma. The latest version is R9 beta 44. Burn your backups at 4x and most of them should work. No usb loaders can load gamecube games.
