Hacking Hey experts: SD card size recommendations?

I'm currently using a 2GB Sandisk MicroSD with the SD card adapter for my Wii, but I'm thinking of handing that one over to my neighbor and upgrading mine to a larger size. Are there any issues with upgrading to a larger 8GB version to use with homebrew? I thought I recalled reading about a problem in the past with larger SD/sdhc cards, but maybe that's been resolved or I'm just not remembering correctly. Any suggestions?

Sandisk Ultra II 2 GB. Really do not use something bigger than 2 GB if you like the fact that your card just works for everything.
