Can i use Hermes' IOS 222/223 rev4 on a wii with system 3.2E ???
yes, they can be used on all systems
So i just follow the instructions and it will be fine ???
But where must i select iso222 or iso223 ?
the loader you use should provide the option which IOS to use
Follow this tutorial and then you will likely just need to use IOS222 for everything that IOS249 doesn't work with.
I get an error of failed -116 when I tried to install this? help please
If you have updated your console for versions superior then 3.2 make sure that you have truncha bug working proper.
Ensure you did the notes for 3.3 and greater if they apply, as stated by boto12. Also, if you were attempting a network install, try the non-network install instead.
Oh, and sometimes even 3.2 systems require the 3.3 or greater steps too.
well my Wii is at 3.2U, so I take it I can't install it then?
The 3.3 method will still work for 3.2 as well. Give it a go.
I'm sorry but where is the 3.3 method located at? I don't see it in the tutorial? thanks
Oops. Sorry. I was getting mixed up with the IOS249 installation, which does have two versions. IOS222 v4 should install on any version Wii just fine, as long as you already have a working IOS249 installed.
Try the offline install if the online install failed, though. E.g., Wiimm recently pointed out to me that it seems the online install won't work with the LAN adapter.
ok was checking the offline install, for the following: Copy the contents of the NUS Downloader zip file to a directory of your choice which will be referred to as from now on,
how do I do this? do I make a new folder with the name of "NUSD dir"?
Make a directory with a name of your choice. Anything will do.
Oh, and directories and folders are the same thing if that's what confused you.
yes the offline install worked, THANK YOU VERY MUCH, just a suggestion here, maybe you should include in your tutorial that a LAN adapter won't work with the online installation and to use instead the offline installation, thanks for the help again and the GREAT TUTORIAL
It was actually already there when you posted that. I added it a few hours ago. Perhaps you have the old one cached?
yeah I was using the old tutorial but thanks for the help and tutorial
